TIFFANY ROBBINS
Client Care Specialist
When I was younger, we had a cat named “Boots” that I wanted to cuddle and play with, but she was not always that willing, but I tried so hard. I remember as a kid, wanting to take her to bed with me and I’d squeeze her so tight so that she wouldn’t get away from me, but she always would escape when I fell asleep. I knew then, that I had a big love for pets.
When I grew up, I had the chance to work at a horse camp that had about 30-40 horses to choose from to go grab and ride any time. I was the head instructor for the day camp program, and had so much fun running it. Working with the young kids and teaching them was a great experience for me. I worked there for about 5 years.
A good friend of mine then told me that the clinic she was working at had an opening for an assistant and also at the barn they had, I jumped at the chance. I was so happy to be a part of the veterinary world and excited to see where it was going to take me. I’ve worked at a few clinics over the course of 10 years and have learned so much and had so many different experiences.
I’ve really enjoyed being able to help the clients and also be there for the furry friends that we meet on a daily basis. Every day is so different, and there’s always a new case to help with. I love the differences that come with the day and it always keeps me on my toes.
I currently live in Welland in a beautiful home that my fiancé Shane and I just purchased in January 2015 and we’ve been having so much fun decorating it and making it our home. We are super excited to one day be getting a dog, we’re just waiting for the perfect one to come along. I’m very happy and grateful to be a part of the Upper Canada Animal Hospital team. I look forward to meeting all the clients and giving love to their furry family members.
