NICOLE SOMMER
Client Care Specialist
Where do I begin…to start off I would like to share that I grew up with animals my entire life. To this day I live with a monkey, a squirrel, a raccoon and a skunk aka my four younger brothers. When I was 3 years old my grandmother took me for a day trip for my birthday. This resulted in me coming home with my first puppy on my lap. A little side note would be that my grandmother forgot to mention this puppy purchase to my parents and so started the journey of being a pet owner. Growing up I always would try to help any animal I could. My mom could tell you the many stories of me coming home with a bird that couldn’t fly, or a chipmunk that couldn’t walk, a wild baby bunny, or a dropped off stray kitten that needed a home. Currently I live with my parents and brothers on a hobby farm which has 2 horses whose names our Shonie and Lovely. We have a beautiful St. Bernard dog whose name is Nalle, which is Swedish for teddy bear and two cats Garfield and Odie. I am so thrilled to be working at Upper Canada Animal Hospital where I can share my love for animals and do my best to help and give you and your pet an excellent experience here.
