Mischief
Bi-Lateral Femoral Head Excision (FHO)
Mischief, a Siberian Husky, presented to us with idiopathic bilateral hip luxation (hips that spontaneously luxate without a known cause). FHO surgeries were performed 3 weeks apart, today Mischief is back to her old tricks and feeling great. Mischiefs owners are ecstatic with her outcome!
We routinely perform FHO's, with excellent results, in the treatment of severe hip disease (arthritis and hip dysplasia), hip luxations and fractures involving the hip joint.
